Most people open report.pmayg.dord.gov.in, see 60+ report links and give up. You only need three: one for the village name list, one for a single house, and one for payments. This guide tells you which is which.

What is it?

"MIS report" simply means the public reports of AwaasSoft — the database where every PMAY-G house is recorded from sanction to completion. The report page is grouped into sections: physical progress (how many houses are built), financial progress (money released), social audit (beneficiary names for public checking) and Awaas+ survey reports. For a family, the social audit section is the one that matters, because it lists names village by village.

Benefits

Knowing the right report saves a trip to the block office. You can confirm your name, copy your registration number, see whether your house is sanctioned, and spot a stuck payment — all from a phone, without paying any cyber café or agent.

Practical example: Ramesh, a CSC operator in Sitapur, used to scroll the whole report page for every visitor. Now he goes straight to the Social Audit section, picks Beneficiary details for verification, fills State → District → Block → Panchayat → year 2026-27, and prints the panchayat list. For each villager he copies the registration number in brackets and checks the instalment in the single-house search. Each lookup takes about two minutes.

Eligibility criteria

  • ✓Anyone can view these reports — they are public and need no login
  • ✓You need your State, District, Block and Gram Panchayat name (spelling as used by the block office)
  • ✓To see one house in detail, you need the registration number (shown in the village list)
  • ✓Data is live, so a house sanctioned this week may appear only after the block enters it

Documents required

  • ✓Your Gram Panchayat and block name (ask the panchayat secretary if unsure)
  • ✓Head of household's name exactly as on Aadhaar
  • ✓Registration number, if you already have it (starts with a state code, e.g. UP…, BH…)
  • ✓Bank passbook — to match the account shown against your record

How to apply — step by step

  1. Open report.pmayg.dord.gov.in/netiay/newreport.aspx (or pmayg.dord.gov.in → Awaassoft → Report)
  2. Scroll to the Social Audit Reports section and click Beneficiary details for verification
  3. Choose State, District, Block, Gram Panchayat, the financial year and scheme Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana Gramin
  4. Solve the captcha and Submit — the panchayat list opens with names and registration numbers in brackets
  5. Use your phone browser's Find in page to search your name instead of scrolling
  6. Copy your registration number and open the IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary search to see sanction, instalments and house stage
  7. For a stuck payment, note the FTO number shown there and show it at the block office

Important dates

There is no last date to check the MIS reports — they are updated continuously. New names are added in each financial year after Gram Sabha verification, so check the current year (2026-27) and the previous year if you were surveyed recently.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • ✓Opening Physical Progress reports and expecting names — those show only counts
  • ✓Choosing the wrong financial year; your house appears in the year it was sanctioned
  • ✓Searching with a spelling different from the record (e.g. Devi vs Debi) — try part of the name
  • ✓Paying for a 'PM Awas list PDF' — the same list is free on the official report page
