PM Awas Gramin List Maharashtra 2026 (Gharkul Yadi): Check Your Name Village-Wise
In Maharashtra the PMAY-G list is popularly called the 'gharkul yadi'. The central scheme's list for every gram panchayat is on the national AwaasSoft report and can be checked free, without a login. This guide shows the exact steps, explains how PMAY-G differs from Maharashtra's own gharkul schemes, and what to do if your name is missing.

Procedure checked on the central PMAY-G AwaasSoft public report on 18 October 2026. Assistance amounts follow the national PMAY-G framework. Maharashtra's state-funded gharkul schemes have their own rules; we only describe them in general terms and do not quote their amounts.

What is it?
PMAY-G is the central rural housing scheme, run in Maharashtra by the state Rural Development Department through zilla parishads and panchayat samitis. Villagers often call any housing scheme 'gharkul', but the state also runs separate state-funded gharkul schemes for specific groups (for example Ramai Awas and Shabari Awas). Those lists are managed separately. The list on the central AwaasSoft report covers only PMAY-G. So if you were sanctioned under a state gharkul scheme, you will not find your name here — ask your gram sevak which scheme your house belongs to.
Benefits
With the registration number from the list, you can follow sanction, every instalment and geo-tagged stages yourself. It also helps you speak to the gram sevak or block office with precise details instead of waiting for updates, and avoids paying anyone who promises to 'get the gharkul passed'.

Frequently asked questions
Is the gharkul yadi the same as the PM Awas Gramin list?
Not always. 'Gharkul' is a common word for housing schemes. The AwaasSoft list covers only PMAY-G; state-funded gharkul schemes have separate lists maintained by the state.
How much is given under PM Awas Gramin in Maharashtra?
The national rate is ₹1.20 lakh per house in plain areas, released stage-wise, plus MGNREGA wages. Districts notified as difficult areas may get a higher rate; confirm with your panchayat samiti.
Where do I complain if my instalment is stuck?
Start with the gram sevak and the panchayat samiti office (BDO). If unresolved, file a grievance on pgportal.gov.in with your registration number.
Can I check the list in Marathi?
The report is in English. Select the place names from the drop-downs, then search your name; try both English and Marathi-style spellings.
