What is it?

PM-Kisan pays ₹6,000 a year in three ₹2,000 installments to eligible landholding farmer families. The portal maintains a public, village-wise list of beneficiaries so anyone can verify whether a name is included before an installment is released.

Benefits

Checking the list tells you whether your registration was accepted. If your name appears, your installments should credit automatically. If it does not, you can fix the exact issue — e-KYC, land seeding or Aadhaar mismatch — before the next installment.

Practical example: Sunita from a village in Sehore, MP opens pmkisan.gov.in, clicks 'Beneficiary List', selects Madhya Pradesh → Sehore → her tehsil → block → village, and presses Get Report. Her husband's name appears in the list, so she knows the next ₹2,000 will come to his Aadhaar-linked account.

Eligibility criteria

  • ✓Landholding farmer family with cultivable land in its name
  • ✓Aadhaar number linked to the registration
  • ✓Bank account seeded with Aadhaar for DBT
  • ✓Not in an excluded category (income-tax payers, serving/retired government employees above Group D, professionals, pensioners above ₹10,000/month)

Documents required

  • ✓Aadhaar card
  • ✓Bank passbook (Aadhaar-linked account)
  • ✓Land records (khatauni/khasra)
  • ✓Registered mobile number

How to apply — step by step

  1. Open pmkisan.gov.in on your phone
  2. Click 'Beneficiary List' in the Farmers Corner menu
  3. Select State → District → Sub-District → Block → Village from the dropdowns
  4. Click 'Get Report' — the full village list opens
  5. Search your name or your family member's name in the list
  6. If the name is missing, check 'Beneficiary Status' with your Aadhaar/registration number to see the pending reason

Important dates

The list updates continuously as states verify records. Installments are released roughly every four months; complete e-KYC and land seeding well before the expected release month.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • ✓Checking only the list and not the individual Beneficiary Status, which shows the exact rejection reason
  • ✓Name in list but no payment — usually NPCI/Aadhaar-bank seeding failed
  • ✓Spelling difference between Aadhaar and land records blocking verification
  • ✓Paying agents to 'add the name' — corrections are free at the CSC or agriculture office

Frequently asked questions

My name is in the list but money has not come. Why?

Check Beneficiary Status — if 'Aadhaar seeding' or 'NPCI mapping' shows failed, visit your bank to link Aadhaar with the account.

Can I check the list without internet at home?

Yes — any Common Service Centre (CSC) can print the village list for a small service fee.

How do I add a missing name?

Use 'New Farmer Registration' on the portal or visit the local agriculture office with land records and Aadhaar.

Is e-KYC compulsory?

Yes. Without e-KYC, installments stop even if your name is on the list. Do it free on the portal with OTP.
